Execo opens Kenya's first legal service center utilizing Genai and hires 100 lawyers

With support from the Dutch Youth Employment Challenge Fund, Execo's new Nairobi center (fourth office in Kenya) will create skilled employment by training local lawyers on advanced GenAI tools to provide team efficiency innovations and enhanced data competitiveness built into GenAI. The center will complement the company's facility in Pune, India, and will be the company's second global GenAI contract service location.

Nairobi, Kenya, November 20, 2024 — Execo, a next-generation provider of contract managed services built into Genai, is proud to open a new office in Nairobi, Kenya. This cutting-edge facility is Kenya's first legal services delivery center focused on the Jenai Peninsula, and represents a major step forward in skilled employment using AI. Enabled by a grant from the Youth Employment Challenge Fund, an organization based in Utrecht that works to create meaningful employment opportunities across Africa, Execo's newest Nairobi office is focused on Kenya's expanding role in the future of AI-first careers.

The new facility will create hundreds of cutting-edge jobs for Kenyan legal professionals while also providing opportunities for career development and upskilling in underserved communities. By enabling professionals to utilize GenAI to work faster while maintaining quality, Execo is not only redefining the future of legal services, but also positioning Kenya as a major player in the new GenAI economy. With a scalable workforce in Kenya and rich tech benches in India and the Philippines, Execo brings together specialized legal expertise and practical AI skill sets. This allows customers to enjoy the benefits of GenAI without a large upfront investment, long-term vendor selection, or additional risk.

This development is based on the proven success of African AI that Execo introduced last year. African artificial intelligence has already created thousands of jobs for Kenyans, and this new facility will expand its mission by focusing on continued employment growth. Our Nairobi office helps local professionals take advantage of cutting-edge tools in legal services and supports global clients in various industries.

“Emerging market professionals with deep expertise using GenAI can stand shoulder to shoulder with better talent than anywhere else in the world. Patrick Linton, CEO of Execo, said: We aim for a future where legal services are driven by technology and delivered by competent lawyers. “This new office demonstrates our belief in GenAI's power to transform service delivery in traditional offshore markets and reaffirms our commitment to working to create high-value jobs across the countries where our teams are based.”

The Youth Employment Challenge Fund played a pivotal role in making this expansion possible. “Through our partnership with Shortlist Professionals, we're proud to support initiatives like Exec's in line with our mission to create sustainable, future-focused employment for young people,” said Beatrice Gichohi, Kenya Country Leader for the Youth Employment Challenge Fund. “By integrating advanced AI technology, Execo is putting young Kenyan professionals at the forefront of the AI revolution and setting them up for success in a rapidly evolving job market.”
